To be eligible to apply for this study programme, the applicant should;
Be over 18 years of age
Be currently in Grade 12 or have a High school diploma, or a tourism diploma or relevant experience in hospitality or customer service
Be able to swim unaided and work at high altitudes
Be Medically fit, with a good eyesight and hearing, although glasses and contact lenses are permitted
Obtain IELTS 6.0+ or ICAO level 4 proficiency if you are an international student whose first language is not English
Upon successful completion of this course, each student should have;
Developed various career-related skills, knowledge and behaviors to effectively perform a variety of functions required in providing passenger safety and services specific to the aviation industry. A Private Pilot License course is the first step on the ladder of aviation training. Upon successfully completing your Private Pilot Licence training course, you will be allowed to fly an aircraft for recreational purposes during daytime in good weather conditions. The theoretical phase covers aspects including aviation laws, navigation principles, meteorology, and aircraft operations before the practical flight training
In order to qualify for a Private Pilot License(PPL), By the end of the training you should;
Be 16 years old to apply (17 at time of PPL licensing)
Obtain a Category 2 medical Certificate from an Aeromedical Examiner (AME)
Pass the PPL theoretical exams
Obtain IELTS 6.0+ or ICAO level 4 proficiency if you are an international student whose first language is not English
Complete at least 45 hours of flight training, Including at least; 25 hours of dual flight with an instructor, 10 hours of supervised solo flying time, Including a solo cross-country flight of at least 150NM

Demonstrated working knowledge in General aviation, South African air law, Meteorology and Navigation. This advanced diploma is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to perform inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on aircrafts. Flight Dispatcher assists in planning flight paths, taking into account aircraft performance and loading, enroute winds, thunderstorm and turbulence forecasts, airspace restrictions & airport conditions

A Commercial Pilot License allows you to enter the commercial world of aviation. This means that you can carry passengers or cargo while getting paid! An Instructor Rating will give you the edge over a pilot who does not have the rating, providing you with one more avenue that you can use to gain hours and experience. It also adds experience and value to your CV and career in aviation. A Grade 3 Flight Instructor Rating allows you to give flying training in all sequences for PPL and CPL training
